Short description of the organization/department/research team:Research laboratory of plant biopolymers chemistry (IEPN UB RAS) deals with: The study of regularity of biochemical processes of formation of fundamental properties and structure of plant wood and non-wood biopolymers, and their transformation in natural climatic conditions and environments of Northern European Russia and technogenic processes.
Currently the laboratory conducts fundamental research in the following areas:
  • Biogeochemical aspects of formation of the fundamental properties and structure of biopolymers of lignocarbohydrate wood matrix;
  • Investigation of physical - chemical properties of nanocomplexes based on modified biopolymers;
  • Investigation of physical-chemical properties of nanoscale systems based on aromatic plant origin polymers.

Applied research is focused on generating new products for medical and veterinary sciences. Development of new products is based on application of the created at VECTOR innovative technologies, including genetically engineered.

Short description of the organization/department/research team:The Russian state hydrometeorological university (RSHU) is unique HIGH SCHOOL in Russia, carrying out complex preparation of experts in the field of hydrometeorology, ecology and in sphere of economy of wildlife management. In particular, experts RSHU are engaged in the complex analysis of seaside territories and adjoining water areas for which take place and planned to placing large marine use objects. The basic specialization includes an estimation anthropogenous influence and geoecological risks, complex monitoring of ecological and social and economic conditions in a coastal zone, an estimation of sea potential of seaside regions. Besides, RSHU has branch in Tuapse which is the constant equipped base for works in area of ocean use, hydrometeorologies and ecology.
