EurAsia Waste Management Symposium will provide a comprehensive overview of effective waste management strategies across the Asian and the European regions. Also, the symposium will provide the opportunity to discuss and evaluate the current and future regional waste management strategies and recycling projects. All parties of waste management such as universities, industrial organizations, public institutions and organizations, local governments and legislators are welcome to attend to the symposium in order to share their experiences and to bring a common body of knowledge for the solution of the waste management problems in the region.
The symposium will be organized by Yildiz Technical University (YTU) and supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, ISTAC J.S.Co., Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI), International Waste Working Group (IWWG) and ISWA-Turkey (Turkish National Committee on Solid Waste).

The registration fee (100-250€ Eraly registration, 150-300€ Late registration) covers coffee breaks, lunches, the gala dinner, and the conference proceedings. Undergraduate and graduate students can register at a reduced fee if they provide a formal institutional letter.
A partial support (e.g. airfare or hotel) may be possible for the applications by early career scientists (35 years of age or younger) and scientists from “low or middle income countries” to attend the symposium. The applicant must submit at least one abstract to the symposium. A short curriculum vitae and an Application Form For Financial Support are required.
